I hope someone may be able to steer me to a satisfactory conclusion. Lightroom Classic 7.4 Update is Released Fast and furious, Adobe’s been debugging and updating Lr Classic’s features, and so, the Lightroom Classic 7.4 Update is already here. In what I have done today I have actually gone backwards as I have ended up with V6.0,zero, zip, zilch! I am at my wits end with this and it is now affecting my health - seriously! I am now seriously thinking of ditching my 100,000 or so catalogue and shifting to Capture 1 and starting our again. I am an absolute fan of LR when it is working but am incredibly frustrated by the wall Adobe has built around itself to keep users at bay. If the release of Lightroom Classic CC and Lightroom CC on October 18th was the beginning of the end for standalone Lightroom, today marks the end of the end.Adobe has released the final standalone Lightroom, version 6.14, adding some bug fixes and camera and lens compatibility, but otherwise using the opportunity to encourage users to jump on the subscription bandwagon. We have complete sets available here, including Lightroom 6.14 / CC 2015. I use the Air for travel, and do travel a good deal, and the current LR version will not accept images from my Lumix TZ110 so I really do need to update. I did not enjoy the trial and with my experience with Apple, iTunes music and movies I an not remotely interested in working with the Cloud or Adobe CC so did not sign up. Some time ago I agreed to the trial of Lightroom CC on the Air. There is a lot in the pipeline and so little time in the day…but its coming!
